How to set up IPTV Quebec on VIDAA Smart TV

Works with: Hisense and other televisions running VIDAA OS.

Step by step

1. Update the TV

   Check for a system update in the TV’s Settings → Support (or System) menu.

2. Install a player

   Open the VIDAA app store, search for an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U and install it.

3. Activate the player if it asks

   If the player displays a device ID or MAC address, add your login on the player’s website using that ID.

4. Enter your login details

   Open the player and choose the Xtream Codes login (some players call it “Xtream API” or “Login with username”). Type the server URL, username and password from your welcome email exactly as written, including http:// and any port number. If your player only accepts a playlist link, paste the M3U link from the same email instead.

5. Let the channels and guide load

   The first time you log in, the player downloads the full channel list and the seven-day program guide. This can take a minute or two. Later starts are much faster.

6. Make it yours

   Add the channels you watch most to Favourites, set the player’s time zone to your own (for example America/Toronto) so the guide shows your local times, and open a live channel to check picture and sound.

Tips for the best picture

• VIDAA’s app selection is smaller than Google Play. If you cannot find a suitable player, plug in a Fire TV Stick.
• Use the TV’s Ethernet port for live sport.
• Turn off automatic standby before long events.
